A husband, a wife, and a lot of canvas.
We met freshman year at South Carolina, standing in the palmetto formation before a game at Williams-Brice. Cocks by 90, forever.
Jillian started needlepointing in February and Brad wanted in almost immediately. When we couldn't find canvases we actually wanted to stitch, he put his graphic design background to work. A few hours and an inkjet printer later, HC Needlepoint Co. existed.
Now we design the stuff we love: Disney, travel, sports, and whatever else we're into that month. If a design doesn't need a printed canvas to work, it becomes a chart instead, so stitchers who already know their gauge can pick their own mesh.
The HC is for Hamilton Cornelius, our dog. That's a mouthful, so everyone just calls him Hammy. It's his world. We're only stitching in it.
How a canvas gets made
- Draw it. Every design starts as line art, sized and simplified so it still reads once it becomes stitches.
- Chart it. The drawing gets redrawn stitch by stitch into a chart.
- Print or pack it. Canvases print to order on mono canvas, one at a time. Charts get packaged as a clean, print-ready PDF.
- Ship it. Canvases go out hand packed. Charts are delivered by email.
Every design is drawn by hand, and every product photo is a real photo of the real canvas. We do not use AI to create or stage anything you see here.
